Configure a Custom Homepage and/or Menu

Configure which users and/or groups view a custom homepage and/or a menu when logging on to ProcessMaker.

Configure a ProcessMaker User a Custom Homepage and/or a Menu

Optionally, configure a custom homepage and/or a menu for a user when that user logs on to ProcessMaker. A custom homepage is either a dashboard that displays to the user or redirects that user to a specified URL. The redirected URL may be to an external site, such as to an organization's portal, or to a ProcessMaker location such as a specified Collection or Saved Search to which that user has access. The custom homepage and menu are configured separately.

The user does not experience the custom homepage and/or menu change until the next time that user logs on.

When a user is a member of a group and the group's custom homepage and/or menu setting is different than that of that user's account, the user account configuration(s) supersedes that of the group's.

See the following sections in the Edit a User Account topic:

Configure All ProcessMaker Group Members a Custom Homepage and/or a Menu

Optionally, configure a custom homepage and/or a menu for members of a group when a user of that group logs on to ProcessMaker. A custom homepage is either a dashboard that displays to the group member or redirects that user to a specified URL. The redirected URL may be to an external site, such as to an organization's portal, or to a ProcessMaker location such as a specified Collection or Saved Search to which all group members have access. The custom homepage and menu are configured separately.

The user does not experience the custom homepage and/or menu change until the next time that user logs on.

When a user is a member of a group and the group's custom homepage and/or menu setting is different than that of that user's account, the user account configuration(s) supersedes that of the group's.

Furthermore, do not assign multiple groups with different menus. Though menus configured to each user supersede those to configured to groups, ProcessMaker cannot display two menus simultaneously to a user because different menus are assigned to separate groups.
