Enable On-Premises ProcessMaker Local Log On Via SAML

Allow ProcessMaker Administrators to log on locally to their on-premises ProcessMaker instance via SAML. This does not apply to ProcessMaker Administrators managing cloud-based ProcessMaker instances.

ProcessMaker Package Required

To enable local log on via SAML to an on-premises ProcessMaker instance, the SAML package must be installed in that ProcessMaker instance. The SAML package is not available in the ProcessMaker open-source edition. Contact ProcessMaker Sales or ask your ProcessMaker sales representative how the SAML package can be installed in your ProcessMaker instance.

Follow these steps to allow ProcessMaker Administrators to log on locally to their on-premises ProcessMaker instance via SAML:

  1. Locate the .env file for your on-premises ProcessMaker instance in the root directory of your on-premises ProcessMaker installation.

  2. Locate the SAML_ENABLE_LOCAL_LOGIN parameter. By default this property is set to FALSE. SAML_ENABLE_LOCAL_LOGIN=FALSE

  3. Change the SAML_ENABLE_LOCAL_LOGIN property to TRUE. SAML_ENABLE_LOCAL_LOGIN=TRUE
