Windows Plugin Manual Installation

The Process Intelligence Windows Plugin helps automate data collection and analysis, ensuring seamless integration with your system. Follow these steps to install, activate, and validate the plugin for optimal performance.

Step 1: Install the Plugin

Follow these steps to download and install the plug-in:

  1. .

  2. Open the downloaded file and double-click to launch the installer.

  3. If prompted, click "Yes" to allow changes to your device.

  4. Wait for the installation to finish. The installation window will close automatically.

Important

  • Do not change the installation path and allow the installer to complete with the default settings.

  • Once installed, the plugin may take up to 5 minutes to initialize and start running in the background.


Step 2: Enter Your Registration Token

After the plug-in has been installed, follow these steps to enter your registration token.

  1. Click the Windows Start button and type Workfellow in the search bar.

  2. Click on the application to open it.

  3. A web page will open at http://localhost:61503.

  4. Click Settings and locate the Token field.

  5. Paste your organization's registration token.

  6. Click the Apply Token button to activate the plugin.


Step 3: Validate the Installation

Once the plug-in has been successfully installed and activated, follow these steps to check the installation status:

  1. Click Status in the web page menu.

  2. If the installation is successful, you will see:

    • Connection Status: Connected

    • Activated Team: [The name of your team]

  3. You're all set! You can now close the browser and resume your work.


Troubleshooting

Unable to install or activate the plug-in
  • Admin right are required to Install and configure the plug-in.

  • Contact your IT deparment to get necessary access.

The plug-in does not start
  • The plug-in might still be in the process of being intialized.

  • Allow up to 5 minutes after installation for the plug-in to become fully functional.

Connectivity issues
  • Open File Explorer and navigate to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Workfellow Oy\Workfellow Windows Plug-In

  • Run Network_tester.exe to check network connectivity.

  • If your company uses a proxy, configure it using the Network Tester.

Unable to view data colletion settings
  • Open http://localhost:61503 to view uploaded data and settings.
